Nomad Box Bar’s newest offering. The Nomad Speakeasy Event Centre is located close to the heart of Winnipeg. This central location is perfect for those that want something easily accessible to all of their guests. Located in an unsuspected building, one block off Winnipeg’s iconic Portage Ave in the historic West End neighbourhood, houses this beautiful, intimate and upscale venue.
Right sized for 100 guests or less, furnished with high top lounge style tables and stools coupled with lower intimate cocktail style tables of 2, 4 or beautiful harvest tables seating upwards of 10, the space can be configured to all situations. Need help designing a layout, we can provide you with some layout options depending on the nature of your event, and have it setup and ready for you when you arrive.
Bar service can be from one of our beautifully restored mobile bars, portable bars or the fully functional in house bar. Being a fully licensed venue, means we can take away all of your stress over the planning and purchasing of your liquor. Do you have requests for more fun cocktails or alcohol free beverages? We have your back, we offer planning and consultation to create a beautiful bar menu just for you
All beverages will be carefully curated by our in house mixologists, allowing us to create cocktails and mocktails that will appeal to all of your guests.
Also, included in every service package, is access to a full beautifully renovated commercial kitchen space perfect for your caterer of choice. With plenty of storage, refrigeration, prep, cooking and plating space, our kitchens are setup with the chefs in mind.
Do you need help with choosing a caterer, event planner or other vendor? We can help with that. We have a list of caterers that we love to work with, who are familiar with our venue and kitchen. We know that these caterers can surpass your expectations and with our varying options can meet various price points.
We have been told that our intimate venue is perfect for all occasions without the need for additional decor. But if you feel the need to bring in some more, to make it a little more personal or to change the vibe, feel free to let us know. We do also make changes based on the season and are open to suggestions, ideas and of course your own unique touches.
Feel free to ask about some of the add- ons or rentals that we can also assist with. From candles to lamps, plants vases and more we can help to fulfill design needs with confidence and ease.
Audio visual a need and do not know where to start, we can help in that area also. Featuring a 98″ smart television, sonos and blue tooth speaker systems, microphones, projector and more, we aim to make things easier. If you do not want to handle the music yourself, no problem, we can also assist with some great references for live musicians or excellent DJ’s. complete with their own equipment and lighting options.
Coming soon is our dedicated coffee, dessert, and small buffet bar, great for grazing tables, appetizers, sweets and more. This newly redesigned area in is just a part of our redesigned indoor pergola which will be home to the new lounge area.
